Genuit at Euroluce 2025

A story of connections, emotions and light

A phone call has always connected two worlds, two stories, two people. The telephone handset evokes a gesture that has been repeated for years and its twisted wire connects this history.

Among the novelties presented at Euroluce 2025, Vertigo, the amusing electrical connection system, will be one of the protagonists of the Genuit proposal.

The twisted wire that characterises Vertigo reminds one of the telephone handsets of the 1980s, those devices that accompanied generations of conversations, human connections, and shared moments.

However, what more is there to a telephone handset? It is a tool, sure, but it is also a symbol. A symbol of connection, of exchange, of words that cross distances. The telephone, after all, has always been a bridge, a way of bringing people together, even when they were far apart.

On the Genuit stand at Euroluce 2025, the twisted wire will not just be a design detail, it will be a reminder of all those conversations, those gestures, that have shaped the past of many people, while for others it will be a whole new story and, why not, an invitation to create new ones.

Light, for Genuit, is a way to connect stories, just like the telephone, which has allowed generations to communicate, exchange emotions and projects, mixing thoughts with confrontation to give birth to something new. Vertigo, with its design, conveys light, but also emotions and ideas, in a conversation that has no end.
