Inside an early 20th-century slaughterhouse located in the Certosa District—Milan’s most vibrant up-and-coming gastronomic neighborhood—Club Giovanile Milano comes to life: a project that blends a passion for gastronomy, musical entertainment, and multifunctional spaces perfect for events. It stands out not only for its modern and dynamic atmosphere but also for its attention to architectural and design details.
The building, brought back to life through careful renovation, preserves industrial traces seamlessly integrated into a contemporary design, maintaining its historic charm.
The chosen electrical solutions fit perfectly into the renovation project, enhancing the spaces and helping to create a functional environment with strong visual impact, bringing out every original detail.
From the original cement tiles made of grit to the decorated ceilings and the exposed original masonry walls, each historical element has been carefully and sensitively preserved and enhanced—keeping the authentic character of the space alive.
This project, carried out by co.arch studio, demonstrates how a focus on architectural detail can truly make a difference in shaping the atmosphere of a venue—making it welcoming and in line with contemporary trends, while at the same time enhancing valuable historical features.
