The ice cream workshop, on the Mediterranean

After opening its first workshop in the heart of Marseille, LouLou Monsieur Glace continues its journey with a new space overlooking the Mediterranean. The second location sits along the Corniche Kennedy, where the presence of the sea shapes the atmosphere and becomes part of the project itself. Here, the visual language evolves while maintaining continuity, supported by the Genuit exposed electrical system.

The design develops the same principles introduced in the original workshop: a restrained aesthetic defined by materials and details that are intentionally left visible. Each element contributes to a clear idea of craftsmanship, expressed through careful decisions and a measured approach to space.

Natural light plays a central role. It moves across surfaces, filters through the interiors, and gradually transforms the perception of the space throughout the day. The transition between inside and outside is subtle, allowing the surrounding landscape to enter the environment and become part of the overall experience.

Within this balance of precision and lightness, the Genuit exposed system integrates naturally into the architecture. Round junction boxes, flexible conduits, and Line lamps define a composition of shapes and architectural lighting that remains visible by design, reinforcing the identity of the space rather than concealing it.

The Silver finish ties all elements together, adding a tactile and understated quality that aligns with the material palette of the interior. The result is a coherent environment where design lighting and exposed systems contribute to the narrative of a contemporary artisanal workshop.
